HLA Preparatory School was originally created in 2017 as a Tennessee entity for the purpose of establishing a Florida 600 school for homeschool athletes wanting to play competitive sports with public FHSAA member schools without having to give up quality umbrella school benefits and services. In 2024, HLA Preparatory School of Tennessee established itself as a Category IV an umbrella school, sister to HomeLife Academy, that provides the same quality of service with more options for families seeking more structure and accountability. Our goal is to give families options. HLA Preparatory School accepts Education Freedom Scholarships for families choosing this option.
